Under the program, medical team consisting of a Medical Officer and an ANM conduct medical examination/health check-up of students of Seth Vidyalaya and Project Savera and provide first aid and emergency services to children and to staff. Cumulative health record containing details of health illness, treatment advice and follow up given to a child is maintained by the medical team. After screening, the students needing specialist services are referred to specialist. The follow-up of all referred cases is done by repeated visits at monthly intervals. In special cases class teachers and parents are informed about the condition of the child and advised regular treatment and follow up. Parents and teachers are also given health guidance and counseling along with the school children.
